Peace | Crowell advises the developer of the UAE’s first nuclear power project and what is currently the largest nuclear construction project in the world. Unit 2 of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant has successfully completed cold hydrostatic testing, which “ensure[s] that welds, joints, pipes, and components of the reactor coolant system and associated high-pressure systems comply with the standards of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR).” This is a significant milestone as Unit 2 is now more than 85% complete and the entire Barakah Nuclear Power Plant is now more than 82% complete.
