Peace | Crowell represented a California landowner in connection with the closing and leasing of three land parcels to a solar developer for the purposes of building, owning, maintaining and operating utility-scale photovoltaic solar power generating facilities. The solar developer is the US subsidiary of the world’s largest solar energy solutions provider and has subsequently completed the sale of its solar plant on one of the parcels to a leading US energy provider complete with a 25-year power purchase agreement that is “expected to generate enough clean electricity to power more than 6,500 homes annually”.
