Peace | Crowell is serving as lead project development counsel to the initial applicant under an operating license application filed today for Barakah Units 1 & 2 with the United Arab Emirates’ Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, which represents a crucial milestone in the journey to becoming fully operational. The application is approximately 15,000 pages in length and took an extensive team, including international experts, approximately five years to complete.
